Speaker Abbas to again put a smile on faces of Zaria residents

On January 29, the people of Zaria are set to welcome a significant event. The Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas Iyan Zazzau, will deliver a blessing to the people of Zaria to ease the burden of the upcoming Ramadan fasting month. 

The event is of great importance to the people of Zaria, who are facing many challenges during this fasting period.

The fasting month of Ramadan is one of the pillars of Islam. During this period, Muslims perform worship and protect their body and soul, focusing on good deeds and helping each other. This period provides an opportunity for the people to review their lives, and to rise with the thought of doing good to each other.

Therefore, the sending of blessings from Tajudeen Abbas Iyan Zazzau at this time is of great importance to the people of Zaria.

From B.J Lord, Zaria  The city of Zaria came to a grinding halt on Saturday, March 14, 2026, as thousands of mourners gathered to bid farewell to the late Igwe (Sir) Unogu Vitus Ibeh KSM, JP, Eze Ndi-Igbo Zazzau,   The late Eze's burial ceremony, held at the Pastoral Center in Graceland, Sabon Gari, Zaria, drew a massive crowd of dignitaries, traditional leaders, and well-wishers from across Kaduna State and beyond.  Notable among the attendees were the representative of Kaduna State Government, the Zazzau Emirate Council, District head of Sabon gari, Security agents, Business and Commercial moguls and the Igbo communities across the country. KADVS assures residents of safety during Christmas, New Year celebration

From Sadiq Mohd Zaria  Kaduna State Vigilance Service (KADVS) has reassured residents of the state of its unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property throughout the Christmas and New Year festive period. A statement, issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Service, Yunusa Shehu Ibrahim said the Commander, CP Ali D. Audu (Rtd.), stated that KADVS operatives have been strategically positioned across the state to ensure a peaceful and secure celebration.
