NBTE Reviews 60 Programmes at Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Ends Accreditation
By Muazu Abubakar Albarkawa The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has concluded a landmark accreditation, reaccreditation, resource inspection and institutional reaccreditation exercise at Nuhu Bamalli Polytechnic, Zaria, aimed at strengthening academic standards and technical education delivery. The exercise, which ended on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, was held at the Engineering Twin Theatre after briefings by team leaders who assessed 60 academic programmes, making it the largest accreditation exercise in the history of the institution. The exercise was coordinated by the Rector, Engr. Muhammad Kabir Abdullahi, PhD, who led the Polytechnic’s engagement with the NBTE team.
