The spiritual organization, Da’iratul Anwar fi Madhi Sayyidil Abrar, under the leadership of Malam Ibrahim Garba Umar, has held a special gathering dedicated to dhikr (remembrance of Allah) and prayers for peace, stability, and national development in Nigeria.

The event, which attracted Islamic scholars, traditional titleholders, and members of the public, centered on supplications for unity, moral uprightness, and divine intervention in the affairs of the country.

In his address, the Dan Goriban Zazzau, Muhammadu Aminu, commended the organizers for promoting Islamic values through regular remembrance of Allah. He stressed that Islam places great importance on peace, justice, and compassion, adding that societies thrive when leaders and citizens uphold honesty, trustworthiness, and fear of Allah.

He further highlighted the need for Muslims to return to the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah, warning against division, corruption, and moral decline. According to him, collective prayers and good conduct remain essential tools for addressing societal challenges.

Also speaking, Sayyadi Bashir Mai Diwani, Bashir Mai Diwani, delivered a spiritual exhortation focused on key Islamic teachings. He also urged Muslims to strengthen family ties, avoid harmful speech, and engage in acts of charity, noting that these are fundamental principles that promote harmony within the Ummah.

In his own remarks, the organizer and leader of the group, Malam Ibrahim Garba Umar, who also holds the traditional title of Jarman Tudun Wada Zaria, emphasized that the gathering was intended to renew spiritual consciousness and strengthen faith among participants.

He spoke on the importance of adhering strictly to Islamic teachings, including regular prayers (salah), remembrance of Allah, and seeking knowledge. He reminded the audience that Islam encourages unity among believers and discourages enmity, arrogance, and injustice.

Malam Ibrahim Garba Umar further stressed that true national development can only be achieved when citizens embrace righteousness, accountability, and fear of Allah in both private and public life. He called on Muslims to continue praying for Nigeria, especially in times of difficulty, while also working actively to improve their communities.
