Zaria Council Chair attends UK programme on Executive Diplomatic Governance

Engineer Jamil Ahmad Muhammad JAGA, Chairman Zaria local government area has arrived the United Kingdom along with other colleagues to attend an executive diplomatic programme on governance.

The delegation led by Sadiq Mamman Lagos, the Kaduna state Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, was to attend the training aimed at enhancing good governance and digital skills.

The Programme titled “Advancing Local Governance, Global Best Practices, and Digital Transformation” holds at the London Tilcareer Institute, United Kingdom.

A statement signed by Ishaq Galadima,
Chief Press Secretary, Office of the Chairman Zaria Local Government Council said the training will also strengthened knowledge of modern governance, improve administrative capacity, and expose participants to digital tools for effective and efficient public service delivery. 

Galadima added that the training will focus on effective local governance models, Digital transformation strategies and Global Best practices.

The statement further stated that the programme is not only suitable to local government officials but also to diplomats and professionals seeking to advance their skills in governance, diplomacy and digital transformation.

"With this participation, Zaria Local Government is set to benefit from international best practices and technology-driven solutions under the leadership of Engr. Jamil Ahmad Muhammad." The statement said

KADVS assures residents of safety during Christmas, New Year celebration

From Sadiq Mohd Zaria  Kaduna State Vigilance Service (KADVS) has reassured residents of the state of its unwavering commitment to the protection of lives and property throughout the Christmas and New Year festive period. A statement, issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Service, Yunusa Shehu Ibrahim said the Commander, CP Ali D. Audu (Rtd.), stated that KADVS operatives have been strategically positioned across the state to ensure a peaceful and secure celebration. The statement urged members of the public to remain vigilant and to promptly report any suspicious persons, movements, or activities to KADVS operatives or the nearest security agency. It said the Commander advised residents to exercise caution in crowded places such as markets, places of worship, motor parks, and recreational centres.
